Senior Manager Trade MarketingThe Category Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the design, rollout, and performance tracking of category-led customer marketing programs across all channels including General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Supermarkets (SM), and emerging channels as applicable. The role will work closely with Sales Development, Sales teams, Brand Marketing, Category/Product teams, and Regional Customer Marketing Managers to translate category priorities into strong customer marketing programs that drive visibility, shopper engagement, outlet productivity and off-take growth.

This role will ensure programs are delivered with high quality through strong planning, cross-functional coordination, channel customization, KPI tracking and continuous optimization using insights and learnings

Key Roles/Responsibilities

  • Support development and rollout of category-led customer marketing programs across all channels aligned to annual category priorities
  • Create and standardize program frameworks and toolkits, including:
  • POSM / visibility toolkits
  • activation guidelines and SOPs
  • channel-wise customization playbooks
  • tracking formats and scorecards
  • Coordinate with regional teams to drive effective rollout and adherence, ensuring:
  • timely communication and readiness
  • channel-wise execution alignment
  • closure of gaps identified during rollouts
  • Drive cross-functional coordination with:
  • Sales teams for execution alignment
  • Supply chain for product readiness and availability
  • Finance for spend utilization and documentation governance
  • Brand team for messaging consistency (where applicable)
  • Track, analyse and report program performance using KPIs such as:
  • secondary/primary uplift
  • visibility compliance
  • outlet productivity and activation impact
  • execution scorecards
  • post-activity ROI / learnings
  • Maintain program dashboards and consolidate regional learnings into best practices
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends across channels and recommend improvement areas
  • Support capability building by contributing to training modules and conducting sessions for internal teams as needed
  • Ensure process discipline and documentation readiness for claims, spends and audits

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of trade/customer marketing across channels
  • Strong program management capability (multi-market rollouts)

  • Analytical skills to interpret KPIs, recommend improvements and optimize programs
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
