Job Description
- To ensure that a high level of On-time Delivery performance are maintained and improved to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Strengthen Contract manufacturer's engagement, Improve delivery performance and Yield,
- Initiate and monitor cost reduction drive with contract manufacturers to achieve YoY cost reduction
- Timely and systematic closure of the Contract manufacturer's greeneries, like E&O, Price variances, shortages
- Measuring, Monitoring & Improving the Contract manufactures performance on Q-C-D .
Responsibilities
- Set-up the Program management systems & processes with CM's in line with the Tejas manufacturing process Model to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Achieve highest levels of delivery performance for Cards, sub-assemblies, and products from CM's
- Effectively manage the Program management function as per the business processes to meet and exceed the customer requirements.
- Drive and ensure that long term forecast is shared with CM's to provide enough visibility for them to plan production capacity and materials
- Drive and ensure that the CM's loads Tejas demand in their MRP systems and timely release of Purchase orders on suppliers for parts.
- Achieve highest levels of delivery performance for NPI Cards, to achieve the timely go-to market strategy
- Ensure that the various Program management & Operational KPIs and parameters are achieved and continually improved
- Minimizing and systematic handling of Contract manufacturers grievances by timely addressing and resolving.
- To establish and manage a highly professional and strategic relationship approach with CM's for consistent and seamless supply of products and services.
- Set up Quarterly Business review meeting with CM's to monitor their performance & KPI's
- To Train and develop Program management team members to required skills continuously
- MIS / Reporting, Communication within SCM team, Service Team, Design & Production teams and also generate Weekly, and Monthly reports like, CM's delivery performance, Yield, CTB / Shortages forecast accuracy. RMA, Excess & Obsolete Inventory and Contract manufacturer monitoring related reports in line with TL9000
Qualifications
- Experience : Min 15 to 20 years in manufacturing domain – Electronics / Telecom production or EMS companies
- Education : BE – Electronics & telecommunications or Equivalent
