Key Responsibilities
Client Handling & Sales
- Handle client inquiries related to wedding venues and event requirements
- Understand client preferences, budgets, and timelines
- Pitch suitable venues and event solutions aligned with client needs
- Drive the sales process from inquiry to closure
Venue Recce & Client Visits
- Conduct detailed venue recces with clients and internal teams
- Explain venue layouts, capacities, and feasibility during site visits
- Capture and document venue details for sales and operations reference
Negotiation & Closure
- Negotiate pricing, packages, and commercial terms with clients and venue partners
- Ensure deal closures while maintaining margins and service quality
- Coordinate confirmations, contracts, and advance payments
Event Coordination
- Act as a point of contact between clients, venues, and internal teams
- Support pre-event planning and on-ground coordination
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations and assist during execution
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate CRM updates, recce reports, and client documentation
- Coordinate with sales, supply, and operations teams for timely delivery
- Identify risks or challenges and proactively resolve them
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong client handling and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
- Good understanding of wedding venues and event logistics
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in venue sales, event coordination, hospitality, or weddings
- Experience in client-facing and on-ground roles preferred
- Graduate degree required; Event Management background is a plus
