The Strategy & Transformation organization is a critical enabler of PepsiCo's Perform to Potential vision and is foundational to our long-term competitiveness and success. The S&T operating model has been thoughtfully designed to support PepsiCo's long-term strategic objectives, work in concert with the Sectors and enable a BU centric model.
The Colos solution global owner / architect will be responsible for defining, governing, and enabling standardized pallet management processes and implement and support pallet management platforms and products across the manufacturing and warehousing. This role will serve as the global solution owner, design authority, and DevOps lead for Pallets Labeling platforms for international markets. The position ensures that pallet labeling solutions system design, deployment and support strategies align to deliver efficiency, consistency, and scalability across all regions and business units.
The resource will be responsible for management of all financial, production, maintenance, regulatory, quality, safety and labour relations areas and maximizing the Supply chain Business Unit's contribution to the company's profitability via efficient supply chain management. The global supply chain Unit consists of a highly automated department with complex product flows and equipment. This position coordinates daily activities with other operating departments, SAP, operations team. The supply chain Manager is expected to develop, recommend, and implement productivity improvements. This position is responsible for the development of highly potential members of their staff, while motivating others to perform at the top limit of their individual abilities.
Develop long range plans, goals, and strategies ensure net profitability of the unit using latest Review & Response processes, robust root cause analysis tools, and advanced problem solving.
Establish and maintain departmental programs which assure full compliance with pre-established Federal, State, Corporate, and Plant sanitation, Food Safety, and Employee safety standards.
Train and motivate up to five direct and indirect reports in the performance of their duties and develop their management talents to encourage creativity.
Seek and understand new developments affecting the supply chain manufacturing area including new products, modifications, and processes.
Assure effective development and implementation of best practices for the application and the team.
Proven experience in sustaining a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance work systems
Demonstrated the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, statistics, financial analysis and accounting skills
Experience with project management
Ability to adapt style and approach to changing business environment embrace and champion change
Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management
Working knowledge of operations, engineering, maintenance processes and standards
Ability to model integrity, transparency, and authenticity and be respectful and inclusive of others
Ability to lead, develop and coach a team
Working Knowledge of operations, engineering, maintenance, regulatory requirements and quality assurance
7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing domain, especially with applications related to case & pallet labelling systems, strong cross functional knowledge on how the end-to-end supply chain works.
Bachelor's degree and working experience in supply chain, engineering, business or another related field is required. Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, production or other related experience is required.
