Position Details: Senior Manager Structures, Pune
Role Brief
Responsible for Structural Design and Analysis for all the Residential Projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review of structural schemes for various residential projects in terms of structural efficiency and buildability-house peer review of structural engineering deliverables from consultants - design basis reports, geotechnical report, analysis models, design calculations, reinforcement detailing & GFC drawings.
- Appointments of consultants and identification of new consultants and vendors for structural engineering
- Literature survey/study on structural analysis & design advancements, national and international codes/standards, current global trends, new technology etc.
- Leading Multi-Disciplinary Coordination with ASMEP consultants and BIM consultant for clash-free designs
- Cross-functional collaboration to support costing, contracts and procurement, planning, quality, safety etc. to have control over project cost, time, quality and safety.
- Site visits and site support by timely responses to RFI and FCRs and giving retrofitting solutions for NCRs Engineering management process implementation as per GPL engineering
- Good knowledge of BIM and Driving the Building Information Modelling (BIM) initiative at Zonal level
- In-house work on organizational level initiatives such as standardization, cost optimization, reduction of construction time etc.
- Follow-up with consultant for timely deliverables.
- Guiding team of structural engineers.
Desired Education & Experience
- Applicants should be B.E/M. Tech (structures) from a reputed institution.
- 9+ years for M and 11+ years for SM, relevant experience in managing Structural design for high-rise residential/ Township projects.
- Hands-on experience with software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, BIM 360 etc.
- Knowledge of value engineering in design of structures at various design stages
