Tasks
As the
Senior Manager Strategic Projects & Nodal Officer India you will perform the following duties:
- Assume the role of appointed Nodal Officer (Senior designated functionary resident in India) under Acts of Indian Law pertaining to Consumer and Commercial laws for LHG's Airline Business
- Public representation / Advocacy of LHG in India regarding consumer and commercial laws
- Translation of LHG Customer and commercial processes into the specific Indian legal frameworks
- Compliance of the LHG customer and commercial processes with Indian legislation
- Continuous screening of upcoming legislation changes, requirements, and alignment with HQ departments
- Establish an efficient process of information gathering and evaluation on strategic developments using internal, as well as external resources
- Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
Requirements
The ideal
Senior Manager Strategic Projects & Nodal Officer India must fulfill the following requirements:
- University degree (Master) in economics, international affairs or equivalent
- Min. 6 years of working experience with international affairs and/or strategy consulting, advocacy groups or trade associations
- Knowledge of existing Indian Commercial and Consumer regulations desirable
- English language fluent
- Ability to simplify complex facts
- Strong conception skills
- Successful representation to ensure compliance with Indian laws pertaining to consumer protection and e-commerce in the passenger airline business
- CV/Resume and Cover Letter required
- Must possess a legal work permit in India
