Duties and Responsibilities (Indicative):
We are looking for a Senior Manager – MIS, Reporting and Audit team. In this role, you will be responsible for
the integrity of Delhivery's books of accounts (standalone and consolidated), driving timely financial reporting, and leading process improvement and automation initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations across domestic and international entities.
Financial Reporting & Accounting
• Oversee and manage the books of accounts for Delhivery and its subsidiaries, ensuring strict adherence to applicable accounting standards and best practices.
• Lead quarterly reporting of standalone and consolidated financial statements; perform in-depth analysis of financial results and provide commentary on variances and trends.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including General Ledger reconciliation
and preparation of schedules.
• Maintain oversight of consolidated reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across all group entities.
Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance for foreign entities, including adherence to local regulatory requirements and group reporting standards.
• Lead and co-ordinate statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits; serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of IND AS (Indian Accounting Standards) and ensure all financial reporting is compliant with applicable standards.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities; translate
insights into actionable recommendations for senior management.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports, supporting strategic decision-making at the leadership level. Process Improvement & Automation
• Identify and lead automation initiatives to streamline financial reporting, reconciliation, and closing
processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Skills Required:
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification;
5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and financial reporting; experience at a listed company or Big 4 firm preferred.
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with IND AS (Indian Accounting Standards).
Proven experience managing statutory, tax, and internal audits
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights
clearly.
Experience in managing foreign entity compliances and consolidated reporting for group entities.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar); proficiency in MS Excel and
financial modelling.
Demonstrated track record of driving automation or process improvement initiatives in finance.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to the fast-changing pace of a high-growth business; self-
starter and change agent mindset.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
