1. Site Engineering & Infrastructure
- Lead the planning, design, and development of site infrastructure, utilities, and facility upgrades.
- Ensure building and equipment compliance with corporate standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
- Manage contractors, engineering firms, and service providers for civil, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility projects.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for site utilities and critical infrastructure.
2. Industrial Engineering
- Lead the planning, design, and development of industrial engineering activities including plant layout, workflow optimization, production technology, production lines, machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with process engineering and R&D teams to integrate new equipment and production technologies.
- Ensure process scalability, reliability, and compatibility with site capabilities.
- Support FAT, SAT, qualification, and validation activities.
- Support industrialization of new products, processes, and technology transfers.
- Ensure machines and equipment compliance with corporate standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
- Manage contractors, engineering firms, and service providers Industrial Engineering activities.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for processes, machines and equipment.
3. Digitalization and Automation Engineering
- Lead the planning, design, and development of Factory initiatives in Automation, MES Architecture, Robotics and Factory Digitalization.
- Ensure Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives in compliance with business goals and corporate standards.
4. Facility Service and Maintenance
- Lead facility service and maintenance functions
- Ensure service are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety expectations and policies.
- Manage contractors and service providers.
4. CapEx Planning & Project Management
- Develop multi-year CapEx plans aligned with site growth and corporate strategy.
- Lead end-to-end project execution, from concept design and budgeting to commissioning and handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety expectations.
- Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and investment proposals.
5. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all engineering activities follow EHS, fire safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZOPs, and implement robust mitigation actions.
- Promote a culture of safety and operational discipline within the engineering organization.
6. Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, managers, and technicians.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Engineering centre, Sister sites, Product development and Corporate functions.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
