Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. As the SEO Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our search engine optimization & app store optimisation strategy to drive high-quality traffic, generate qualified leads, and contribute directly to revenue growth. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our SEO efforts, from on-page optimization to content strategy and technical SEO, ensuring we meet targets for organic lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on generating qualified B2B leads for our SaaS offerings. Prioritize SEO initiatives that will drive targeted traffic, increase conversions, and meet revenue goals.
  • Website Optimization: Perform regular audits to ensure on-page and off-page SEO best practices are followed across the website, ensuring alignment with SEO goals and industry standards.
  • Keyword Research & Content Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search terms that align with buyer personas, customer pain points, and business objectives. Collaborate with content and product teams to develop compelling, SEO-friendly content that drives leads.
  • Technical SEO Leadership: Oversee the technical SEO aspects of the website, including optimizing site architecture, improving load times, ensuring mobile-friendliness, and working with developers to resolve any technical issues that may impact SEO performance.
  • Analytics & Performance Reporting: Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others. Provide actionable insights to improve traffic, lead conversion rates, and overall site performance.
  • Lead Generation Focus: Optimize content and landing pages to drive conversions, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that SEO efforts align with broader business goals and lead generation targets.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors SEO strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation, helping to ensure that Vyapar maintains a competitive edge in search engine results.
  • Stay Current with SEO Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices to ensure continuous improvement and long-term success of our SEO strategy.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Demonstrated success in driving organic traffic and generating leads through SEO in a B2B context
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving organic traffic and generating leads through SEO in a B2B context.
  • Technical SEO Expertise: In-depth knowledge of technical SEO, including site structure, indexing, crawling, page speed, mobile optimization, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Keyword Research & Analytics Tools: Strong proficiency in keyword research and SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.) to track, analyze, and report SEO performance.
  • Content Strategy: Experience in developing and executing content strategies that drive organic traffic and lead generation. Ability to work closely with content creators and marketers to produce SEO-optimized content.
  • B2B SaaS Understanding: Familiarity with the B2B SaaS landscape, buyer journey, and lead generation strategies within a SaaS context.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven leadership abilities with experience working in cross-functional teams. Ability to influence, mentor, and guide team members to drive success.
