Job Title: Senior Manager - Seller Operations
Location: open to re-locate in UAE (Dubai)
About noon
We're building an ecosystem of digital products and services that power everyday life across the Middle East—fast, scalable, and deeply customer-centric. Our mission is to deliver to every door every day. We want to redefine what technology can do in this region, and we're looking for a Seller Operator (Operations) who can help us move even faster.
Our mission: Ring every doorbell, every day.
What you'll do:
- Own and lead noon's end-to-end merchant risk charter across the marketplace – defining the strategy, operating model, and roadmap that protect our customers, our sellers, and the platform.
- Build, lead, and grow a high-performing risk team spanning seller vetting and onboarding risk, fraud and abuse prevention, investigations, and policy enforcement.
- Design and continuously strengthen controls across the full seller lifecycle – onboarding and KYC, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding – to detect and prevent fraud, collusion, counterfeit, and prohibited-product abuse.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to build the risk tooling, rules engines, and machine-learning detection models that scale with the business while keeping false positives low.
- Own the risk KPIs – fraud loss in bps, detection and recovery rates, false-positive rate, and investigation SLAs – and drive measurable improvement quarter over quarter.
- Lead complex investigations and enforcement decisions – warnings, suspensions, reinstatements, and appeals – balancing seller experience with platform integrity.
- Partner across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Payments, and Seller Operations to manage the regulatory, financial, and reputational risk of the marketplace.
- Deep-dive the root cause of emerging fraud and abuse patterns, prioritize, and drive resolution – building the playbooks and SOPs that prevent recurrence and reduce the per-unit cost of risk operations.
What you'll need:
- Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of experience in risk, fraud, trust & safety, or financial-crime / compliance, with significant exposure to e-commerce or marketplaces; 3P marketplace experience strongly preferred.
- A proven track record of building and leading teams and owning a risk function end-to-end.
- Strong command of fraud typologies and risk controls, and sound judgment on the trade-off between risk mitigation and seller growth and experience.
- Ability to read and understand data to take effective decisions, and comfort partnering with analysts, data scientists, and risk-tooling teams.
- Phenomenal stakeholder management and the ability to influence Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
- Extreme sense of ownership and aggression to deliver results in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written / verbal) and the judgment to make sound calls under pressure.
