Job Title: Senior Manager - Security Operations
The Senior Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security procedures and programs that safeguard people, assets, and ensure life safety during emergencies. This role provides strategic leadership for Fidleity Global Security (FGS) at the assigned site, managing a team of full-time employees and professional service contractors. The position encompasses leadership in
Security Operations,
Transport Security,
Life Safety Management, and
Emergency Management, while also coordinating specialized training and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities to drive accurate decision-making and navigate complex challenges. The Purpose of Your Role
As the FGS leader for the assigned site, you will implement and oversee all security operations policies, procedures, and life safety/emergency programs. You will provide guidance, coaching, and motivation to full-time resources and manage vendor relationships, including guard force providers, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and statutory requirements.

- Provide strategic leadership to the site security operations team relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of company assets, employees, contractors and others;. Ensure identification, management and timely resolution of site wide physical security issues; perform security risk analysis and coordinate response to eliminate deficiencies.
- Development and effective implementation of goals and objectives that support FGS initiatives. Ensures established goals accomplished with prescribed priorities, timelines and fiscal responsibility; advises, makes recommendations, assists in the formulation of goals and objectives; designs, implements and monitors security policies, procedures and programs; complies with local, state and specific legal regulations.
- Ensures quality and delivery for all GSI matters, identifies process shortcomings, control gaps or opportunities for enhanced monitoring or surveillance and coordinates with business partners to ensure implementation and mitigation of exposure or threat, risk or loss.
- Monitor the security teams for deficiencies in training, direct and coordinate training initiatives for their upskilling and provide long term on-going development guidance. Ensures proper resources, training and capabilities exist to respond to a wide range of crisis / life safety events.
- Build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders including executive and local leadership and security industry peers to foster a secure environment and facilitate the delivery of targeted security services.
- Coordinate a timely response and manage crisis at all levels and for extended durations.
- Develop, review and implement site specific security procedures that effectively mitigate risk and guide the security teams.
- Responsible for development & effective management of financial resources (CAPEX & OPEX) for the site security. Directs cost effective management and delivery of life safety & assets protection services.
- Recommends hire, promotion, termination, and other status changes of employees. Is responsible for ensuring viable succession plans are in place for all critical positions.
- Provides vision & direction to the team in line with Organizations vision and motivates the team to set the bar high year on year.
- Manage vendors including security services providers who are critical for Operations. Ensure all the statutory labor compliances in regard to contractor staff are adhered to at all times.
- Provide a thorough analysis of security risks and the development of appropriate mitigating strategies. Proactive in making suggestions for continuous improvement of security procedures and systems management.
- Managing operational security on a tactical & strategic level. Develops and refines a risk-based security strategy.
- Drive leadership-oriented insights and reviews communicating results, highlighting risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations impacting performance and results promptly.
- Oversees, coordinates and implements security programs to protect assets, including: physical and site security, event security, workplace violence prevention, threat analysis, and security training and awareness.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of security policies & procedures and apply professional / applicable security standards to ensure the protection of people, property, information and reputation of the company.
- Collaborate with the Security Technology Team for designing and implementing robust access control and protection systems for new projects.

- Ability to utilize data and information to conduct analyses and prepare measurable and meaningful reports.
- Proven record of a great team player who leads by example and effectively managed diverse teams.

- Proven record of managing major security related incidents and crisis management.
- Should have a good working knowledge of management practices and principles for efficient delivery
- Proven capabilities, in security management, with a deep understanding and or experience in the areas of operations, transportation security, investigations, security systems and infrastructure & crisis management.
- Lead and act with a high standard of ethics and integrity and inspire the same in others.
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes / quality of deliverables through Innovative and out of box thinking mindset thereby bring in efficiency & cost effectiveness.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of security systems and processes & experience in security audits of existing and new properties.

- Strong knowledge of security, technology and the ability to identify and evaluate policies, procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets.

- Hands on to MS Office based desktop applications.

- In depth knowledge on various physical security technology applications & experience in managing a security command center.
- ISMS Certification, i.e. ISO 27001 Implementor or Auditor
- Physical Security Certifications, i.e. CPP, PSP, CFE etc.
- Investigations skills
- Experience of running security programs & managing teams in multiple locations.

The Expertise We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree is must and professional security certifications like CPP, CFE etc. desirable.
- Must have 10 15 years progressive security senior management experience with strong people management skills, relationship building; particular experience in either a top tier multinational or major financial industry desirable. The last 3 - 5 years should be with a large organization leading & managing a team of security professionals.
- Experience and ability to deliver strong leadership in respect of incident and crisis management.
- Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment and with functions that operate 24x7
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a clear ability to provide leadership, direction and reassurance across all levels of the organization
- Displays the highest levels of integrity and commitment.
- Experience in handling and expertise to carry out operations during crisis situations demonstrating contingency planning abilities.
- Knowledge of integrated security systems, access control, video surveillance, and other related systems and equipment's.
- Ability to learn and collaborate effectively with all internal & external stakeholders.
- Position requires being on call 24/7 to respond to security emergencies & incidents.
- Experience providing security risk / threat assessments at the strategic and tactical level, demonstrating critical thinking and exceptional judgment in information analysis through analytical skills and problem-solving.
- Experience with third-party contracts and statements of work related to physical security.
- Ability to set and execute strategic goals and objectives for the security programs while also managing and implementing tactical and operational solutions.
- Effective change management skills, and a proven ability to adapt and integrate security policies in a changing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of physical security standards, processes, and compliances.
Location : Bangalore
Shift timings: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM but requirement of the job is to be available on call 24/7 shifts
