Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager – Business Development to drive B2B sales growth across automotive, OEM and white goods segments. This is a core individual contributor role, focused on managing key accounts, driving revenue and ensuring profitable business expansion.
The role requires strong domain expertise, relationship-building skills and the ability to convert opportunities into sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Growth
- Own and manage key accounts / domain portfolios
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Ensure achievement of Order Intake (OIT) and revenue targets
- Build long-term relationships with OEMs and Tier-1 clients
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in automotive and white goods sectors
- Establish and strengthen industry contacts and networks
- Proactively pitch company products and solutions to prospective clients
- Lead client meetings, presentations and commercial discussions
Customer Engagement
- Maintain continuous engagement with key accounts
- Track and resolve open issues and business concerns
- Act as a single point of contact for assigned accounts
Commercial & Profitability Focus
- Ensure project profitability and margin optimization
- Monitor sales performance and pipeline health
- Drive sustainable business growth and account expansion

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business / Management
- 8–15 years of experience in B2B Sales / Business Development
- Strong exposure to Automotive OEM / Tier-1 suppliers (preferred) or White Goods industry
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong account management & key account (KAM) experience
- Proven track record in sales conversion and revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build and leverage industry networks
- High ownership mindset as an individual contributor
- Strong commercial acumen with focus on profitability
Preferred Experience
- Experience in automotive components, electronics or manufacturing solutions
- Prior experience handling OEM clients
- Exposure to solution-based or consultative selling
