Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales strategy and execution for API-based products and solutions
- Own revenue targets, pipeline management, and forecasting for API sales
- Identify, engage, and onboard partners/clients requiring API integrations (B2B, fintechs, platforms)
- Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including tech and product teams on the client side
- Work closely with internal Product and Tech teams to align API offerings with market needs
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including solutioning, demos, negotiations, and closures
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for API products across segments
- Track and optimize sales performance metrics, conversion funnels, and deal velocity
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging API use cases
- Build scalable processes for API sales and partner onboarding
Key Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on API / SaaS / fintech solutions
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and platform-based business models
- Proven track record of closing complex, solution-based deals
- Experience working with fintechs, aggregators, or enterprise clients
- Ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in financial services, payments, or trading platforms preferred
- Prior experience in high-growth or startup environments is a plus
