Site Name: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower Posted Date: Feb 4 2026 Job Purpose The FRMC Risk Manager is a finance risk and controls specialist responsible for leading risk assessment, control design, testing and remediation activities for major change programmes, including the SAP S/4HANA implementation, across GSK. Working at the intersection of Finance, Technology and Process teams, this role ensures that change initiatives are delivered with robust, fitforpurpose controls that protect financial reporting accuracy, operational continuity and regulatory compliance. The role partners with programme and project teams, process owners and assurance functions to embed risk considerations into design and delivery, monitor control effectiveness during transition and steady state, and enable safe, timely adoption of new systems and ways of working. Key Responsibilities Lead endtoend risk activities for finance change programmes (e.g., SAP S/4HANA and other ERP, close, reporting or finance process transformations), including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning and monitoring. Define and implement financial control frameworks aligned to new process flows and technology solutions translate process changes into practical controls and responsibilities. Partner with programme leads, process owners, Finance, IT and thirdparty suppliers to ensure risk and control requirements are embedded into design, configuration, testing and release activities. Develop and maintain risk registers, control matrices, process narratives and remediation plans ensure documentation supports auditability and regulatory reporting. Plan, coordinate and review control testing (including SOX or equivalent regulatory testing where applicable) evaluate outcomes and recommend pragmatic changes to close control gaps. Track and drive remediation activities to closure, ensuring clear status reporting, escalation and stakeholder communication across global and local teams. Act as the primary FRMC interface into major change programmes providing risk insight and assurance to Programme Boards, Finance leadership, Internal Audit and IT Assurance. Promote automation and continuous control monitoring approaches to reduce manual dependencies and enhance control effectiveness across change deliveries. Design and deliver training, guidance and change support to business and finance teams to embed new control behaviours and sustainment practices. Use data and metrics to measure control performance, provide actionable insights and influence prioritisation of risk mitigation actions. Contribute to continuous improvement of the FRMC operating model, standards and toolsets to support faster, safer change delivery at scale. Key Skills and Experience Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Information Systems or related discipline professional finance qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA) desirable. Minimum 10 years experience in finance risk, internal controls, audit, SOX compliance or related assurance roles within a large or international corporate environment. Demonstrable experience supporting finance change programmes or ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA experience preferred), with handson involvement in control design, testing and remediation. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and control frameworks (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP) and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements. Experience producing and maintaining control documentation: control matrices, process narratives, risk registers and remediation trackers. Proven ability to work collaboratively across crossfunctional teams and with thirdparty suppliers effective at influencing senior stakeholders and programme governance forums. Practical experience with reconciliation and automation tools (e.g., BlackLine) and an understanding of digital control solutions and continuous control monitoring approaches. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to convert control findings into clear remediation plans and drive sustained closure. Strong communication and training skills able to simplify complex topics and coach teams through control and process changes. Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global environment and managing competing priorities to deliver at pace. Preferred Direct handson experience with SAP S/4HANA finance modules, financial migrations or cutover control design. Experience working in shared services, global process hubs, or with external testing partners. Qualifications or training in change management, Lean/Six Sigma, or risk frameworks (e.g., COSO) are advantageous.
