Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager Renewables to lead our renewable energy initiatives in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale renewable energy projects and a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth of the renewable energy portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government bodies, investors, and community organizations, to promote project initiatives.
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation for projects.
- Monitor project performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 13-20 years of experience in renewable energy project management or related fields.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and bioenergy.
- Proven experience in project finance, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental impact assessments in India.
