RealPage is seeking a seasoned technology leader with 12+ years of experience in software delivery to join our Business Intelligence leadership team. This role will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization spanning .NET, Java, and BI/reporting platforms, driving execution, technical excellence, and team development.

- Own end-to-end delivery and execution of the product road map.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers across multiple technology stacks (.NET, Java, reporting platforms).
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and other stakeholders to define scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to business goals.
- Establish and drive engineering best practices, including code quality, CI/CD, testing strategies, and operational excellence.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across teams, ensuring sound architectural decisions and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Maintain hands-on technical engagement with the codebase, contributing to design and development of production systems as needed to guide teams and ensure high-quality outcomes (while not operating as a full-time individual contributor).
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, team productivity, and delivery predictability.
- Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Manage team performance, career development, hiring, and capacity planning.
- Ensure delivery of highly available , scalable, and performant applications and reporting solutions.
- Act as a key contributor within the broader engineering leadership team.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in .NET and/or Java ecosystems.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering management role leading teams of 8+ engineers.
- Experience leading teams across multiple technology domains, including backend services and reporting platforms (Cognos, Power BI, SSRS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including Agile ( SAFe ), CI/CD, and DevOps toolchains.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and release management pipelines.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication , stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
- Bonus: Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
