Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - R2R Cash disbursements & Bank reconciliations
Responsibilities:
.Team Leadership and Development: Lead training programs to enhance team knowledge of best practices in cash management. Mentor team members and stay updated on industry trends and changes.
.Strategic oversight of cash disbursements: Lead the strategic planning and execution of cash disbursement processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, policyholders, and other stakeholders. Implement robust verification processes to maintain comprehensive records.
.Complex bank reconciliation management: Oversee complex bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the company%27s accounting system. Develop strategies to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly, maintaining financial integrity.
.Advanced financial analysis and reporting: Direct the preparation and analysis of detailed reports on cash flow activities, providing insights into the company%27s liquidity position and supporting high-level strategic decision-making processes.
.Regulatory compliance and risk mitigation: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements related to cash disbursements and bank reconciliations. Design and implement strategies to minimize risks and prevent fraud.
.Process innovation and optimization: Drive process innovation by identifying and implementing opportunities for improvements within the cash disbursement and reconciliation functions. Enhance efficiency and accuracy through cutting-edge solutions.
.Executive stakeholder communication: Facilitate effective communication with executive teams and external partners, such as banks and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues related to cash transactions.
.Data governance and integrity: Oversee the governance and maintenance of accurate records of cash transactions in accounting systems. Ensure data integrity and accessibility for advanced analysis and reporting purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:
.Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
.Relevant years of experience in R2R Cash disbursements & Bank reconciliations
.Experience in working with an insurance client will be an added advantage
Preferred Skill Set:
.Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
.Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
.Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
.Strong time management skills
.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
