- We are seeking a Senior Manager QA to ensure our software and systems meet top standards in quality, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate will lead the delivery of high-quality
- software, aligning with customer expectations, regulatory standards, and business goals. This role demands strategic oversight of testing processes, management of complex projects, and leadership in driving excellence in quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using Java technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding best practices and standards.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve software development processes and practices.
- Contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and user guides.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech) or MCA.
- A minimum of 15+ years of experience in software testing, with both manual and automation testing expertise.
- At least 5+ years of experience in managing software testing projects, with previous experience as a QA Manager or Test Architect.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong SDLC & STLC: Strong knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles, including Agile methodologies.
- Testing Expertise: Proficient in various testing techniques (Functional, Regression, Performance, Security, UI Responsive).
- Automation: Experience with automation and performance testing tools (Selenium, LoadRunner, JMeter).
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor QA teams of 20+ members.
- Analysis: Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA) and incident trend analysis.
- Frameworks: Knowledge of BDD, CI/CD processes, and data-driven testing frameworks.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with programming (Core Java), databases (SQL, Oracle), and test management tools (JIRA).
- Cross-Browser Testing: Expertise in parallel test execution using Selenium WebDriver and related tools.
