Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchase professional to lead and independently manage engineering procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing engineering-related materials, vendor development, negotiation, and procurement planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle end-to-end engineering procurement activities.
• Source and procure engineering equipment, machinery, spares, consumables, and capital items.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor base while identifying new suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and projects teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement planning.
• Ensure timely purchase order processing, follow-ups, and vendor performance evaluation.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related discipline) preferred.
• Minimum 15+ Years of Experience including Minimum 5 years of independent experience in engineering procurement.
• Overall experience in purchase/procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Textile industry experience will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
