Senior Manager – Purchase Powertrain

Manage endtoend purchasing activities for allocated powertrain commodity and ensure timely material availability

Develop procurement strategies including DMC & Capex planning for upcoming models and cost estimation

Identify strategic vendor partners and initiate vendor evaluation, empanelment, and onboarding processes

Prepare RFQs, analyse quotations, negotiate pricing, and recommend vendor finalisation through sourcing council

Monitor vendor performance, financial health, operations and negotiate favorable terms to achieve cost efficiencies

Collaborate with Engineering & SQ/SCM teams on cost reduction initiatives including VAVE and localization

Track market commodity prices, analyse costing reports and implement costreduction levers

Address audit queries and ensure compliance with purchasing agreements and TMPV guidelines
