Job Responsibilities:
Project Assessment
- Review of financial models for various projects to deliver cash flow forecast, scenario analysis, risk assessment and return analysis.
- Undertake and manage the necessary due diligence and financial modeling, in the structuring of loans, equity investments, guarantees, B-loans or other forms of financial assistance.
- Work closely with the project development team to identify, analyze and execute the most optimum financing solution for projects.
Processing
- Negotiating and finalizing crucial commercial & legal terms of lending with potential lenders.
- Coordinating with Banks for Project appraisal and for
- Syndication of debt.
- Negotiating & finalizing term sheets with investors; coordinating the due diligence process
- Support and lead the internal approvals process including interface with credit, safeguards, compliance, legal and other teams as well as management and the Board.
Fund Raising
- Oversee financing strategies and minimize financial costs including cost of borrowings.
- Engage with the banking partners / financial institutions for raising new funds and optimizing the use of existing facilities.
- Lead potential refinancing and re-structuring efforts for existing facilities.
- Arranging working capital (fund base and non- fund base)
MIS
- Timely TRM entries for Debt servicing
- Ensure timelines, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting
- Overseeing generation of relevant information, reports and analysis.
Ratings
- Getting ratings of various projects
- Managing relations with rating agencies
Financial Closure
- Leading Financial Closure of various Projects by raising Debt/ Project Finance (Bridge Loans, Term Loans, Structured Debt & External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs) etc.) from domestic / Foreign Banks & Financial Institutions.
- Responsible for creating security, compliances of terms and conditions including CPs etc.
- Managing drawdown on timely manner
- Debt servicing timely payment of interest and instalments etc.
