About the Company

Morari Commercials Private Limited is developing a greenfield project in copper manufacturing and is building its procurement and commercial team.

Role & Key Responsibilities

* Plan and manage copper scrap procurement to meet production, quality and inventory requirements.

* Develop a reliable domestic supplier network, including traders, aggregators and industrial scrap generators.

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, freight and quality deductions.

* Evaluate purchases based on landed cost, copper content, recovery and processing considerations.

* Track LME prices, domestic benchmarks and market trends; coordinate approved price risk management with finance.

* Manage purchase orders, supplier advances, delivery commitments, quality claims and reconciliations.

* Ensure supplier due diligence, procurement approvals and complete GST and transaction documentation.

* Coordinate with production, quality, stores, logistics and finance.

* Lead procurement executives and prepare MIS on targets, purchases, pending deliveries, costs and supplier performance.

* Support international sourcing and import procurement as the business expands.

Experience & Qualifications

* 8–12 years of experience in procurement or commercial operations, preferably including at least 5 years in copper scrap or non-ferrous metals.

* Strong knowledge of scrap grades, quality assessment, recovery economics and supplier markets.

* Proven experience in negotiations, supplier development, manufacturing procurement and team management.

* Exposure to import procurement, Incoterms and commodity hedging preferred.

* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.

* Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems and management reporting.

Key Performance Measures

Procurement target achievement, timely material availability, effective landed cost, supplier reliability, quality claim closure, working capital discipline and accurate MIS.

Travel: Regular supplier and market visits.
