Job Purpose

The Senior Manager- Process Excellence will be responsible to drive the implementation of FRMC policies, governance, and standards across the organisation. This role is responsible for anticipating regulatory and risk trends, defining clear guidance, and leading proactive, future‑focused change across risk and control frameworks.

The role also enables consistent, high‑quality execution across FRMC through strong oversight, reporting, training, and stewardship of methodologies, tools, and central guidance repositories. This position is fundamental to strengthening FRMC services and preparing the organisation for future regulatory and risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Risk & Regulatory Readiness

  • Proactively scan the horizon for emerging regulatory, risk, and industry trends impacting Finance Risk and Controls.
  • Perform preliminary impact assessments and determine required FRMC responses.
  • Assign and coordinate FRMC resources to strategic programs addressing emerging risks.

Governance & Standards Leadership

  • Lead the definition, governance, and maintenance of FRMC standards and policies, including:
    • Risk assessment frameworks and governance
    • Control design, documentation, and testing standards
    • RACM and MCF updates, and exception management processes
    • Enterprise risk and corporate governance reporting requirements
  • Act as a subject matter authority, providing clear requirements and guidance to FRMC teams and stakeholders.


Change & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead proactive change initiatives to meet or exceed new regulatory and governance expectations ahead of implementation timelines.
  • Pioneer enhancements to risk and control frameworks, processes, and methodologies.

Quality Assurance & Reporting

  • Monitor and oversee quality assurance reporting across FRMC services.
  • Provide regular insights and reporting to senior leadership on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Training, Enablement & Knowledge Stewardship

  • Develop and maintain training, reference, and self‑assessment materials for the FRMC community.
  • Deliver training programs and rollouts to ensure consistent application of standards.
  • Create guidance materials for low‑risk or non‑global activities, enabling effective self‑assessment.
  • Act as custodian of central FRMC guidance repositories, ensuring content is current, accessible, and fit for purpose.

Digital & Tools Enablement

  • Drive strategic application of data, AI, and digital tools within FRMC frameworks, with appropriate governance and human review controls.

Required Skills:


Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance risk, internal audit, controls, governance, or related domains
  • Experience working in large, complex, or global organisations preferred

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Deep expertise in finance risk management, internal controls, and governance
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
  • Experience establishing and governing standards, methodologies, and control frameworks
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable guidance
  • Exposure to digital, analytics, or AI‑enabled risk and control solutions is an advantage

Leadership & Behavioural Skills

  • Strategic, forward‑looking mindset with strong risk anticipation capability
  • Proven ability to drive change and lead global or cross‑functional initiatives
  • Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
