About the Team:
- Develop commercial proposals for Tejas customers across the globe based on business intelligence and competition details available from various internal as well as external data sources.
- Partner with Presales, Sales, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) teams to validate product positioning and costing.
- Study market trends on pricing, competition, and products from across several regions of significance.
- Recommend bid pricing strategy based on the trend studies & business analytics available.
- Interact with senior management on a regular basis to understand and implement the pricing strategy in terms of bid decisions and prices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee the complete team performance, take care of appraisals, manage resources, and drive project execution. Also, you will mentor managers, foster innovation, handle stakeholder communication, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results on time.
- Develop commercial proposals for Tejas customers across the globe based on business intelligence and competition details available from various internal as well as external data sources.
- Partner with Presales, Sales, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) teams to validate product positioning, costing, and pricing.
- Study market trends on pricing, competition, and products from across several regions of significance.
- Recommend bid pricing strategy based on the trend studies & business analytics available.
- Work closely with CFO office to review margins made on certain accounts and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Interact with senior management on a regular basis to understand and implement the pricing strategy in terms of bid decisions and prices.
- Support Deal Desk team in embracing process improvements/transformation by way of automation.
Mandatory skills:
- A highly analytical self-starter with sound decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize at times of high volume and stress e.g. Quarter-End, short-notice tender submission.
- Have the ability to influence and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
- Be comfortable advising sales leaders and CXO-level management on all commercial aspects of a deal.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to create business intelligence reports using tools such as Microsoft PowerBI and MySQL is desired.
- Requires meticulous planning, attention to detail, high-degree of patience, healthy communication & people skills.
Desired skills:
- Previous work experience in a Telecommunications organization is preferred.
- Previous work experience in any Technology organization is a plus.
- An MBA or equivalent managerial experience would be a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of work experience in a pricing/deal desk/commercial role is a must.
- Education: BE/B.Tech OR ME/M.Tech with MBA
