Key Responsibilities
Shop Maintenance & Utilities
- Maintenance of shop utilities: Bay lights, office lights, industrial fans, emergency lights, power panels, LDBs, and PDBs.
- Maintenance of transfer trolleys, pallets, and general shop tools (PNR, grinder, cutter).
- Fabrication work as per shop requirements.
- Machine and equipment shifting, including TPM and 5S implementation.
- Spare parts management for shop utilities.
- Low-cost automation initiatives for improved efficiency.
Process Improvement & TPM
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Sustain TPM points in Machining and liaise with contractual vendors for implementation.
- Develop improvement culture across the shop.
Safety & Quality
- Ensure adherence to general safety rules and regulations.
- Generate a safety-focused working culture.
- Knowledge and adherence to quality systems and TQM/DWM principles.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) for issue resolution.
- Handle people management, conflict management, and IR-related concerns.
- Train, motivate, and develop team members.
Planning & Documentation
- Maintain IDM store and shop documentation.
- Prepare reports related to TPM, utilities, and maintenance performance.
- Engineering drawing interpretation for fabrication, utilities, and low-cost automation initiatives.
