  • Facilitate robust knowledge sharing and technical collaboration between global teams and within the IDC (Danfoss India Development Center).
  • Act as the primary technical interface with key cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Customers.
  • Lead project reviews and provide final approval on technical deliverables, ensuring strict adherence to established time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Monitor resource planning and utilization effectively across multiple projects.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Actively contribute to the organization's overall engineering maturity and competency development initiatives.
  • Identify and thoroughly evaluate emerging technologies relevant to power electronics and VFDs.
  • Represent Danfoss at prestigious technical forums, seminars, and workshops, serving as both a speaker and an engaged participant.
  • Maintain strong external networks with academia, professional bodies, and industry forums to stay abreast of the latest technical developments.

Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics or a related engineering field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive engineering experience in Power Electronics, with strong exposure to product development.
  • Proven people leadership experience, ideally in a global organizational setting.
  • Strong background in NPD (New Product Development) and/or product engineering, with practical experience in agile scrum frameworks.
  • Expertise in power electronics design, particularly for VFDs or high-power AC drive systems.
  • Understanding of lifecycle support processes for electronic products.
  • Familiarity with cross-disciplinary collaboration, engaging effectively with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.
  • A hands-on approach, demonstrating the ability to guide, mentor, and effectively challenge design engineers.
