Job Description

Role Summary

A dynamic and strategic leader responsible for managing multiple teams and programs through seasoned managers and team leaders. Owns the execution of functional strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while overseeing operational excellence. Tackles complex challenges with structured analysis and leads with influenceguiding cross-functional stakeholders and engaging with executive leadership to drive impactful decisions and long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and guide a portfolio of strategic programs, ensuring resource optimization, delivery excellence, and measurable outcomes.
  • Define and execute the department's operational and functional strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Drive governance and reporting frameworks to track project health, interdependencies, and risk mitigation across the portfolio.
  • Lead project evaluation, prioritization, and budgeting in collaboration with finance and executive teams.
  • Anticipate and resolve complex cross-functional challenges, leveraging analytical tools and stakeholder alignment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high engagement within managed teams.
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and decision support.
  • Mentor program managers, encourage professional growth, and promote a collaborative leadership ethos.

Education & Experience

  • Qualification: MBA / PGDBM
  • Experience: 1215 years, including demonstrated success in managing project portfolios or large-scale programs with cross-functional impact
