We are expanding our leadership team with a Senior Manager Platform Security to strengthen our platform security posture and ensure our products meet the highest standards of trust and reliability.

What You'll Do At Pega
- Own and lead platform wide vulnerability management and security assessments for a largescale, Java based enterprise platform.
- Act as the primary security leader and POC for platform engineering teams.
- Manage the full lifecycle of vulnerabilities, from identification and triage to remediation and verification.
- Coordinate and support security assessments, including static and dynamic testing, penetration testing, and audit activities.
- Partner with engineering, product, and DevSecOps teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
- Establish security standards, remediation SLAs, and release readiness criteria.
- Provide leadership visibility into security risks, trends, and remediation health.
- Mentor teams and promote secure by design engineering practices.
Who You Are
- A senior technical leader with a strong background in platform or product security.
- Experienced in balancing security rigor with engineering velocity.
- Comfortable driving cross functional initiatives and influencing at senior levels.
- Passionate about building secure, high quality enterprise software.
What You've Accomplished
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 15 -18 years of software engineering experience, with several years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong experience with Java based systems, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices.
- Familiarity with common security testing approaches (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, penetration testing).
- Experience working in cloud native, CI/CD driven environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
