Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly qualified engineers.
• Build an open, trusting, and operationally mature team culture.
• Provide career growth and mentorship opportunities for team members.
• Project Delivery Coordination
• Own the delivery of critical platform projects for the Ericsson Private 5G Solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product goals and cross-region efforts.
• Support and coordinate resolutions for customer issues and escalations, both internal and external.
• Participate in hiring planning and budgeting exercises.
• Communication Stakeholder Management
• Effectively communicate project status, issues, and plans to executive-level stakeholders.
• Establish ownership and accountability across the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Technical Expertise Decision-Making
• Engage in technical and architectural discussions, provide direction, and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate on solutions leveraging best practices in networking, security, and systems administration.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Unix/Linux development environments and administration.
• 3+ years of leadership or managerial experience in networking or systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, Network Namespaces).
• Expertise in security technologies (e.g., disk encryption, secure boot, TPM).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and experience with virtual machines or hypervisors.
• Programming experience with Python, Golang, or equivalent languages.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Agile practitioner mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Preferred:

• Expertise in Linux OS kernel, services, and server configuration management utilities (e.g., iDRAC, iLO, IPMI).
• Experience in the telecommunications or cellular domain.
