We are looking for an experienced R&D Senior Manager Software Engineering who will lead software engineering strategy, drive delivery excellence, and build high-performing engineering teams while ensuring high-quality software aligned with regulatory, security, and product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software engineers, designers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive software engineering strategy, architecture, and technical innovation.
- Ensure excellence across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Design and implement on-premise software architectures and platform infrastructure.
- Establish best practices for software quality, testing, and automation frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Plan and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Manage team performance, resource allocation, and competency development.
- Oversee vendor management and SOW definition.
- Drive continuous improvement through Agile / Scaled Agile Framework practices.
Technical Expertise
- Software Architecture & Design
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems
- Development expertise in C / C++ and Android environments
- Experience across Mobile, Full Stack, Web, Backend, and Desktop application development
- Software automation & test frameworks
- Cybersecurity compliance and secure development practices
Required Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Proven people leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in software development
- Experience managing complex R&D software programs
- Healthcare domain experience is preferred
