What You'll Do
You will be responsible for leading the People Operations function across the Asia Pacific region, partnering closely with Global People Operations teams to design, develop, standardize, and continuously improve service delivery, governance, and operational processes. The role is focused on delivering a consistent, compliant, and employee-centric experience while ensuring alignment with global standards and regional business needs.
You will oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, leave administration, organizational changes, and offboarding. In addition, you will lead HR inquiry and case management operations, ensuring employees, managers, and HR stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and high-quality support across the region.
A key part of your role will be driving service delivery excellence through the effective use of operational metrics, analytics, and employee feedback. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance employee experience, optimize processes, and implement sustainable continuous improvement initiatives across APAC.
You will ensure compliance with local labor regulations, company policies, data privacy requirements, and internal controls, while maintaining strong governance and operational risk management practices. You will also collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, and business leaders to strengthen cross-functional partnerships and support business objectives.
Success in this role requires the ability to lead operations across diverse countries, cultures, and regulatory environments while balancing service quality, responsiveness, compliance, and scalability. You will leverage data and operational insights to identify trends, manage performance, and support informed decision-making.
As a leader, you will build, coach, and develop a high-performing regional People Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous learning. What We're Looking For
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with 8+ years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or People Operations. You have proven experience leading teams in a regional or multi-country environment and a strong understanding of employee lifecycle administration and HR service delivery.
You possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, and business functions. Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday, and managing service delivery, operational controls, and governance processes is essential. Fluency in English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multiple APAC countries within a multinational organization, preferably with 5,000+ employees. Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD or similar case management platforms, continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Lean), automation, and digital HR solutions is highly desirable. Additional regional language capabilities would be an advantage.
Work Environment
This role operates within a global People Operations organization supporting employees across APAC. You will work closely with regional and global stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, HR Technology, Legal, and business functions. Travel of up to 25% within APAC and occasionally to Brea, CA may be required. This is a high-impact leadership role with significant influence on employee experience, operational performance, and service delivery excellence.
