Job Description
Responsibilities
Work closely with internal and external customers and all stakeholders of Islamic BB to assist Section Head – BBPM to: -
- Ensure yearly financial targets, budget and KPIs are achieved.
- Provide input to identify potential targets for the coming years.
- Analyse performance against targets for better tracking and reporting.
- Performance management analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Identify and escalate risks inherent in particular situations or transactions. Access, control, monitor and report impact of risks, franchise, regulatory or financial.
- Conduct business and day-to-day activities contributing to a no surprise compliance culture by ensuring adherence to the Group's AML Programme, policies and procedures.
- Support business operational control (BOC) functions (where relevant).
- Prepare and ensure accuracy and timely completion and submission of relevant reports (working with finance, compliance, internal audit and other stakeholders).
- Monitor Service Level Agreement (SLA) (including preparation/ updating of SLA).
- Well defined operations processes and procedures
- Support Business Operation Control (BOC) and Group BB
Qualifications:
- Masters/ Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Banking/ Marketing/ Accounting/ Management/ Statistics
- Islamic Finance certifications from recognised institutions (added advantage but not a must)
- General Banking/ Credit Management certification from recognised institutions (added advantage but not a must
- 5 to 10 years experience in similar industry especially in customer relationship management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Intermediate to advance knowledge in Islamic banking product and services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
- Experience in data mining and business performance analysis would be an added advantage.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting would be an added advantage.
