Job Description

Broad outline of the Role
The role will lead and manage end-to-end delivery of mobile network initiatives, including MVNO, MVNE, IoT, and Travel SIM projects. This role is responsible for both customer-facing project delivery and internal infrastructure build programs, while also leading a team of Project Managers if applicable to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all programs.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent qualification,
  • 8-15 years relevant experience in infrastructure project management and on field experience
Key Responsibilities:

1. Program & Project Portfolio Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Mobile Network, MVNO, MVNE, IoT, and Travel SIM projects

  • Oversee a portfolio of multiple concurrent customer and internal infrastructure projects

  • Ensure alignment with timelines, scope, cost, and quality standards

  • Drive program governance, reporting, and milestone tracking

2. Project Manager Team Leadership

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Project Managers across multiple programs

  • Allocate projects and ensure optimal resource utilization across the team

  • Provide guidance on project planning, execution, and risk management

  • Standardize project management practices, tools, and reporting frameworks

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and capability development of Project Managers

  • Ensure consistency in delivery quality and governance across all managed projects

3. Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface for key customers and partners

  • Manage expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction

  • Lead customer reviews, executive updates, and issue resolution

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, commercial, and vendor teams

  • Ensure seamless coordination across multiple functions and geographies

  • Drive alignment between business and technical stakeholders

5. Escalation & Risk Management

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks across programs

  • Manage critical escalations and provide timely resolutions

  • Support Project Managers in resolving complex issues

6. Governance & SteerCo Management

  • Establish and drive governance frameworks across all programs

  • Lead Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings and executive reporting

  • Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making

  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

7. Infrastructure & Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee internal infrastructure build for mobile network enablement

  • Ensure readiness of MVNE platforms, IoT connectivity, and roaming solutions

  • Support go-to-market initiatives for Travel SIM and related services

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in Mobile Networks, MVNO/MVNE ecosystems, IoT, and roaming/travel SIM solutions

  • Proven leadership in managing teams of Project/Program Managers

  • Excellent program and portfolio management capabilities

  • Strong people management and coaching skills

  • Effective escalation and crisis management

  • Strong stakeholder communication (including executive/SteerCo level)

  • Governance, risk management, and compliance orientation

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1522 years of experience in telecom/mobile network domain

  • Demonstrated experience managing teams of Project Managers or Program Managers

  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale telecom programs

  • Experience in MVNO/MVNE and IoT ecosystems preferred

  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience

  • Network technology awareness

  • Infrastructure knowledge

  • Good knowledge of Mobile, network, IT infrastructure related project analysis and Planning.

  • Experience in Project Monitoring and Control

  • Agile project management skills and certifications preferred

  • Project management certifications
