Vedantu is looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior Manager Controllership to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial reporting, Ind AS compliance, audit management, and building robust control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1] Financial Reporting & Consolidations
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS
- Handle consolidation workings, journal entries, and inter-company eliminations
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting
2] Ind AS Compliance
- Prepare detailed workings for Ind AS adjustments
- Stay updated with accounting standards and ensure proper implementation
3] Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Identify financial and operational risks across processes
- Design and implement controls across revenue (O2C), payroll, and vendor payments
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure compliance
4] Month-End Closure & MIS
- Lead the month-end closing process
- Prepare MIS reports with actionable insights for leadership
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting
5] Audit Management
- Manage statutory audits and coordinate with auditors
- Act as the primary point of contact for audit-related queries
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations
Requirements:
- Qualified CA (mandatory)
- 35 years of experience in controllership / financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS and financial consolidation (mandatory)
- Experience in internal controls and risk management
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
