Work you will do
- Senior Managers typically have day-to-day responsibility for delivering engagements or major modules of large projects.
- This includes leading the approach, liaising with clients and other parties and directing the thinking of individuals within the team.
- An important part of the role will include involvement in business development and marketing activities to initiate and maintain contact with target companies.
- A Senior Manager frequently manages two or more consultants or senior consultants.

- Lead complex, large-scale integration programmes across multiple workstreams, ensuring successful delivery of synergy targets, business objectives, and value realization outcomes.
- Define and oversee integration strategies, governance structures, operating models, and execution roadmaps across the full integration lifecycle.
- Provide strategic guidance to executive stakeholders on integration priorities, organizational design, change management, and value capture initiatives.
- Oversee programme performance, including synergy tracking, KPI monitoring, issue resolution, and dependency management.
- Drive client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and functional leadership teams throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Lead executive steering committees, governance forums, and decision-making workshops to drive alignment and programme outcomes.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors to drive business growth through executive-level client relationships, strategic pursuits, proposal development, and the identification of new market opportunities across industries and geographies.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors to provide oversight across a portfolio of complex integration and transformation engagements, ensuring exceptional client outcomes, commercial success, effective risk management, and delivery excellence.
- Support deal-related assessments, integration readiness reviews, synergy evaluations, operating model design, and value creation initiatives across the M&A lifecycle.
- Lead the development of thought leadership, market insights, and go-to-market propositions to strengthen Deloitte's Post Merger Integration offering and market presence.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the PMI practice through innovation, capability development, methodology enhancement, recruitment, and talent development initiatives.
- Manage, coach, and mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Analysts, fostering a high-performance culture and building future leaders within the practice.
Requirements:
- Possess an undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, CFA, CPA, MBA, Agile certifications) completed or in progress will be viewed favorably.
- A minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience, ideally within consulting, M&A, post-merger integration, transaction advisory, corporate development, transformation, private equity, investment banking, or a professional services environment.
- Demonstrates deep expertise across the M&A lifecycle, with strong experience in post-merger integration, synergy realization, operating model design, value creation, and large-scale transformation programmes.
- Possesses advanced analytical, problem-solving, and business diagnostic capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex business challenges, develop strategic insights, and provide pragmatic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), with the ability to communicate complex analyses and strategic recommendations effectively to senior management and client leadership teams.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, including experience leading large, cross-functional teams, managing multiple workstreams, and aligning diverse stakeholder groups towards common objectives.
- Proven track record of leading complex client engagements and integration programmes, managing executive-level client relationships, and delivering measurable business outcomes in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, manage engagement economics, and support business development activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop executive-level presentations, facilitate workshops, influence senior stakeholders, and confidently engage with C-suite leadership.
- Demonstrates the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic guidance on integration priorities, organizational challenges, value realization opportunities, and transformation initiatives.
- Highly adaptable, proactive, and capable of navigating ambiguity and complexity while balancing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight timelines.
- Strong people leadership skills, with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop Managers, Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Analysts while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and capability building, contributing to the development of methodologies, thought leadership, and market-leading client solutions.
- Works closely with Partners and Directors to drive business growth through executive-level client relationships, strategic pursuits, proposal development, and the identification of new market opportunities.
- Supports the growth and strategic direction of the Post Merger Integration practice through thought leadership, recruitment, talent development, capability building, and practice development initiatives.
- High attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and a disciplined approach to project governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
- A high-performing, values-driven leader who is committed to client service excellence, continuous development, and building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel as required by client engagements and work from Deloitte offices or client premises when needed.
- Upholds the firm's code of ethics and professional standards and acts as a positive ambassador for Deloitte in client, industry, and community settings.
Positions may be based in Singapore but project locations could be anywhere in the Asia-Pacific Region.
