As Senior Manager, Logistics, you will join a dynamic team responsible for managing and coordinating the overall logistics functions for Singapore services. You will have the opportunity to work closely with terminals, depots, regional offices, and internal stakeholders to ensure equipment availability, operational efficiency, and cost-effective logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Logistics leads the Logistics department, overseeing container inventory management, equipment control, repair cost management, and operational performance for Singapore services. The role drives process improvements, manages key stakeholder relationships, and ensures logistics activities are aligned with business objectives, service standards, and cost-control targets.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and analyse monthly and ad hoc logistics reports for Management and Regional Logistics, providing insights to support operational decision-making.
• Monitor container rental performance and proactively manage follow-up actions with global stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory planning and monitor long-staying containers to ensure optimal equipment utilization and availability.
• Manage and control container inventory across depots, including equipment forecasting to support operational requirements.
• Coordinate empty container positioning and intermodal operations, including export trucking and barge movements to regional destinations.
• Oversee trucking arrangements for empty container movements and ensure timely execution of equipment repositioning activities.
• Monitor DEQ performance and drive initiatives to improve equipment efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate survey arrangements and follow up on container damage cases, working closely with terminals, depots, surveyors, and the Claims team.
• Manage Singapore's MSC bullet seal inventory and related system administration to ensure operational readiness and control.
• Ensure timely resolution of damaged container cases arising during cargo operations and terminal activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational controls, efficiency, and service quality.
• Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring departmental goals are consistently achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience including 6 years of supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Candidates with a Degree in Maritime/ Business Studies or a related discipline will have an added advantage.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and familiar with Microsoft Copilot.
• Working knowledge of Portnet.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-conscious.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and manage stakeholders, including senior management.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
