Senior Manager, Learning & Experience Design

We're hiring a Senior Manager — Learning & Experience Design.

Redwood designs experiential learning journeys for students — programs that take learning out of the classroom and into the real world. We've always believed that meaningful learning doesn't happen by chance; it happens by design. This is the role that owns that design.

Reporting to our Director of Learning & Experience Design, this person anchors the craft at the heart of Redwood — how our programs are built, how our facilitators grow, how we know our work lands, and how we show up in the wider conversation on experiential education.

What you'll own:

• Learning experience design — the content and activities that shape what students carry home, across the full arc of a program: before, during, and after
• Facilitator development — onboarding, training, and growing the facilitator network who bring every program to life
• Feedback & assessment — measuring student outcomes honestly, and turning what we learn into better programs
• Thought leadership — representing Redwood at forums on experiential learning and the future of education, building our voice as a leader in the field
• Content guidance — shaping the quality of our program designs, proposals, and student collateral (right down to the journals students write in), so the learning intent carries through every word

This role sits where vision meets reality. We're looking for someone who can architect what we believe about learning — and make it real inside the constraints of live programs, real students, and the dynamics of our space. A builder of philosophy and of practice, in equal measure.
