Basmati Rice / Food Export / FMCG / Agri Commodities / International Trading

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the international sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Develop and expand business across Middle East, Europe, USA, Africa, Asia, and other global markets.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage importers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Build country-wise sales strategies and market expansion plans.
  • Own annual export sales targets, profitability, and business growth.
  • Manage strategic global accounts and long-term customer relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and annual agreements.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, documentation, and finance teams for smooth shipment execution.
  • Monitor LC, payment collections, export documentation, and order fulfilment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand.
  • Conduct weekly sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and performance coaching for team members.
  • Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.

Must Have

✅ 10–15 years of sales experience

✅ Minimum 5+ years in international/export sales

✅ Team handling experience (5+ members preferred)

✅ Strong experience with distributors/importers/global buyers

✅ Strong negotiation and business development skills

✅ Willingness for international travel

Strong Advantage

Basmati Rice / Food Export experience

Existing global buyer network

Experience handling large export revenue portfolios

Exposure to private label / bulk exports
