The Senior Manager - Internal Control System will be responsible for managing the assessment of risks and internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring compliance with the company's internal controls framework. Additionally, this role involves focusing on mitigating financial and regulatory risks stemming from instances of non-compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Designs efficient solutions to drive operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies and reducing the risk of material financial reporting misstatements.
- Documents risk and control matrices and process maps for units within the scope of ICS.
- Supports local units in regularly preparing and adjusting their risk and control matrices.
- Updates Risk and control matrices on RSA Archer.
- Collaborates closely with management and business process owners to identify, embed, and effectively test key controls.
- Design, test and suggest improvements to the IT General Controls, IT Application Controls and other IPEs related to ERPs, front end applications used by VFS etc.
- Documents business processes and tests their effectiveness through walk-throughs and adherence testing.
- Provides support and training to local business units for implementing and developing internal controls.
- Assists in periodic reporting of issues and progress on remediation plans to stakeholders.
- Identifies key risk areas through strong relationships with Finance Heads, Business Process, Control Owners, and Internal Audit.
- Coordinates external and internal audits in ICS.
- Conducts regular visits to subsidiaries within the scope.

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)
- Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.

Education
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent education in Internal Control systems / Audit
- CISA or equivalent certification (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of Big4 experience in auditing internal controls / statutory audit including IT controls, risk management etc.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with 3 to 4 years of experience in risk, compliance and controls function in a multinational company.
