Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager-Instrumentation and Control to lead our instrumentation and control engineering efforts in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing projects, developing innovative control systems, and mentoring engineering teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of complex projects and delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for various projects.
- Manage and oversee instrumentation and control engineering teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineering, to integrate control systems into overall project designs.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing instrumentation and control systems.
- Mentor and train junior engineers in best practices and emerging technologies in instrumentation and control.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems design and implementation.
- Proficiency in using control system software and programming languages (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- Strong understanding of control theory, process control, and automation technologies.
- Experience with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and API.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
