Senior Manager Information Systems

• Act as liaison between Product Owners, Service Owners, and delivery teams to ensure commitments are met and facilitate communication when service commitments are missed.
• Lead and be accountable for the Agile Product team supporting Clinical Trial Data & Analytics (CTDA), aligning efforts with business goals.
• Build and manage the product roadmap; drive prioritization and governance through PI (Program Increment) planning with business leadership.
• Oversee Build and DevOps teams for development, deployment, and operational support of CTDA capabilities.
• Design and implement data foundations, including interfaces, workflows, and data models to enable clinical system integration and reporting.
• Utilize AI/ML and cloud technologies to address Clinical Operations needs and guide the R&D software ecosystem vision.
• Develop, mentor, and foster a high-performing, diverse team while embedding global agile ways of working.
• Serve as a SAFe coach to promote Agile product delivery and Lean-Agile leadership culture.
• Maintain strategic leadership relationships; provide updates on services, performance, and unmet needs.
• Lead impact assessments for system changes and propose aligned solutions.
• Collaborate with global, distributed teams to ensure operational alignment in a matrixed organization.
• Understand collaborator workflows and information needs to define business outcomes and technology solutions.
• Ensure rigorous testing, compliance, and successful deployment of system integrations.
• Participate actively in leadership meetings to drive cross-functional collaboration and meet organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree with 8-10 years of experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience OR
• Diploma with 14-18 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing technology initiatives and teams with successful innovation.
• Experience in people management and leading matrixed teams; passion for mentorship and culture development.
• Skills in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Spotfire.
• Strong business acumen with deep understanding of industry, therapy, and product.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience in pharmaceutical or technology organizations.
• Extensive software development lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) adoption.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Broad knowledge of IS domains and layers.
• Familiarity with clinical trial regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, ICH).
• Expertise in managing product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), budgets, and forecasts.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML and cloud technologies for innovation and process optimization.
