Job Description
About Us
Wirality is building a creator, influencer and partnerships vertical.
We are building it around a simple belief: as more of culture, attention and influence moves through people rather than traditional media channels, brands need a much stronger way to identify, access and work with the right creators, talent and communities.
We will work across influencer marketing, creator partnerships, talent, brand collaborations, creator-led IP, community-led distribution and other opportunities that sit at the intersection of brands and people with influence.
We are starting from zero.
And we are looking for someone who wants to build it with us.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager – Influencer, Creator & Partnerships to be part of the core team building this department.
This is a commercial, client-facing and execution-focused role.
You will be responsible for helping grow the business: identifying opportunities, contributing to new business, developing relationships with brands and creators, building solutions and independently managing large influencer and creator mandates.
You won't be joining an established department with a ready-made playbook.
You will be helping us build one.
What You Will Own
You will be expected to identify opportunities, develop leads, participate in pitches, build proposals and help convert conversations into business.
Opportunities can come from existing Wirality relationships as well as clients acquired independently.
Over time, we expect you to develop and own a meaningful book of business.
You should be comfortable speaking to marketers, understanding their problems and turning those conversations into commercially viable creator solutions.
You will independently manage key accounts and identify opportunities to grow those relationships through new campaigns, creators, partnerships and formats.
We want you to understand the client's business rather than simply execute the influencer brief handed to you.
You should eventually become someone clients call when they are trying to understand what they should be doing with creators.
The network should span nano and micro creators through to large creators and celebrity talent.
You will be expected to continuously discover new creators, build relationships and understand what is happening across the Indian creator ecosystem.
For important creators and talent relationships, we expect you to remain personally involved.
This Could Include
You should understand why a particular creator, community or format makes sense for a particular business problem.
That Means Understanding And Managing The Entire Lifecycle
Strategy; creator research and selection; creator outreach; commercials; negotiation; contracting; briefing; content approvals; execution; timelines; measurement; reporting and post-campaign analysis.
You will work with junior team members as the department grows, but you should understand the work well enough to step in and solve problems yourself.
You will be responsible for ensuring the campaigns and accounts you manage make commercial sense.
That means understanding budgets, negotiating effectively with creators and partners, protecting margins and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
You should understand the difference between generating revenue and generating good revenue.
You will help turn relationships and experience into infrastructure.
That Includes Helping Build Systems Around
Creator discovery and classification; creator CRM and relationship management; historical pricing; campaign performance data; creator evaluation and scoring; briefing and shortlisting; contracting and payments; campaign measurement; and reporting.
We want the department to become progressively smarter with every campaign it executes.
You will be expected to delegate effectively, build processes and help develop a team capable of independently managing campaigns.
This is not only about getting your own work done. It is about helping build a team that can scale.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with approximately 4–6 years of experience, with meaningful experience inside the influencer/creator ecosystem.
You should ideally have worked at a leading influencer marketing agency, creator company, talent business or a similar organisation where influencer marketing was a core part of the business rather than an ancillary service.
You should already understand how this industry works.
That means knowing creators, understanding brands, knowing how commercials are negotiated, understanding campaign operations and having relationships you can activate.
You should have independently managed significant influencer campaigns and be ready to take on greater commercial and business responsibility.
Who Are We Looking For
This role will suit someone who is:
Commercial.
You like selling and don't see new business as somebody else's responsibility.
Entrepreneurial.
There isn't an established machine waiting for you. You should be excited about helping build it.
Networked.
You have genuine relationships within the creator ecosystem and ideally across the brand/agency ecosystem as well.
Hands-on.
You can contribute to a pitch in the morning, negotiate with creators in the afternoon and solve an execution problem in the evening.
Organised.
Creator campaigns involve a lot of moving parts. You can keep control of them without losing sight of the larger objective.
Data-oriented.
You believe influencer marketing can become more measurable and systematic than simply choosing creators based on followers and engagement rates.
Collaborative.
You will work closely with teams across Wirality and should be comfortable building alongside people with different areas of expertise.
Culturally plugged in.
You understand Indian internet culture, creators, platforms and how influence is changing.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will be measured by your contribution to the commercial and operational outcomes of the department.
Revenue. Margins. Client growth. Repeat business. Creator relationships. Campaign execution.
Over time, we expect you to build a meaningful book of business and develop a team capable of servicing it.
Your responsibility should grow as the business grows.
Why This Role Is Different
You aren't joining an established influencer marketing department.
You are joining the team building one.
You will have the backing, infrastructure and client ecosystem of Wirality while getting the opportunity to help define how this vertical operates from the beginning.
That means more ownership, more responsibility and considerably more exposure to building a business than you would typically get in an established team.
For the right person, there is also the possibility of creating meaningful long-term upside linked to the business they help build.
If you've spent the last few years learning how the creator economy works and want your next role to be about building something rather than simply managing something, we'd like to talk.
