Senior Manager-ICOFR & Risk Management

This is a foundational hire. The Senior Manager – ICOFR & Risk Management will be the first dedicated resource for this discipline within the Starzen India GCC. You will build the controls framework from the ground up — working in close coordination with the Head of Finance in Gurgaon — remediate gaps identified by external auditors, and position the capability as a scalable shared service that can be extended to other Group operating companies facing the same compliance obligations. This is a player-coach role: hands-on in technical delivery from day one, while simultaneously designing the operating model, processes, and team structure to support Group-wide deployment within 18–24 months.

Qualifications:

• Professional qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent. CISA is a strong advantage.
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in internal controls, internal audit, or external audit with a clear ICOFR / SOX specialisation
• Big 4 or equivalent public accounting firm background, including time spent on listed company audits
• Demonstrable in-house experience within a listed company or group finance function — you understand how auditors think because you have worked on both sides
• Direct experience building or significantly enhancing a controls framework from scratch, not merely maintaining an existing one
• Hands-on experience designing and testing controls across key financial cycles: Revenue, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Payroll, Treasury, and Financial Close
