As we scale our operations in FY 25-26, we are seeking a high-caliber professional to lead our Solar Power Plant Sales division for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector. Your Role
As the Senior Manager for BD & Sales (Solar Projects), you will be a strategic leader at the forefront of India's solar transformation. Your primary objective will be to identify, pursue, and secure high-value solar projects, helping C&I businesses transition to clean energy solutions through our turnkey offerings.
What You'll Do
Strategic Business Development
- Market Leadership: Identify and engage with high-potential B2B/C&I clients, establishing HVR Solar as their preferred solar partner.
- Solution Selling: Present and customize cutting-edge solar power solutions that align with client sustainability goals and deliver tangible cost savings.
- Deal Architecture: Lead the negotiation and closure of high-value project contracts, ensuring both profitable growth and long-term client loyalty.
Sales Operations & Strategy
- Target Achievement: Consistently deliver and exceed order booking targets through a data-driven approach to the sales funnel.
- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive market research and competitor analysis to refine our sales strategies and value proposition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and project execution teams to ensure technical feasibility and seamless project handovers.
Relationship Management
- C-Suite Engagement: Build and nurture influential relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the private sector.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a senior representative of HVR Solar at industry events and networking forums to expand our project footprint.
What We're Looking For
Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy) is required.
Professional Experience
- 68 years of proven experience in B2B/Project Sales within the private sector (experience in Solar EPC or Power projects is highly preferred).
- A demonstrable track record of closing large-scale commercial contracts.
Core Competencies
- Sales Savvy: Mastery of CRM tools, market research methodologies, and complex customer engagement strategies.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations and contract terms.
- Communication: Fluency in English and the local language, with the ability to present complex technical data clearly.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across Delhi/NCR and surrounding industrial hubs to meet clients.
