About The Role

The Senior Manager – HR Learning & Development role will focus on setting up the Meesho Academy. The aim of the Meesho Academy will be to build employee capabilities that are aligned to our long-term vision.

The role will initially focus on capability building primarily for our early career hires that come in from campus. It will also focus on upskilling the broader workforce on AI and building skills for a future-aligned workforce.

What You Will Do

To meet the requirements outlined above, you will need to do the following:

  • Needs Assessment: Conduct problem-first analyses using data and leader & employee inputs to identify the needs of the programs.
  • Program Development: Design programs to cater to the needs which include on-the job development, learning from others and formal learning. Use AI to create learning programs as needed.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop AI-based programs where needed for enabling in-person training programs. Develop virtual training programs to help up-skill.
  • Measurement & ROI: Define KRs to measure the impact of the training programs on productivity, skill-building etc.
  • Partner closely with the COEs related to employee experience, talent density, manager capability to drive success of our KRs.

What You Will Need


  • Postgraduate degree in Human Resources from premium institutes
  • 5+ years of experience across HR, consulting, or strategic roles
  • Strong understanding of multiple HR domains (talent, rewards, culture, org design)
  • Ability to go deep in one domain while retaining enterprise-level perspective
  • Strong first-principles and L2 thinking — able to anticipate second-order impact of changes
  • Exceptional structuring skills (problem statements, frameworks, roll-out plans)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfort operating with senior leadership
