  • Summary This is a people and project management position that will be crucial to upholding standards of excellence for deliverables within BIA teams and establishing a high-performing, connected culture on the ground as the new Hyderabad site becomes established. The analytical solutions manager oversees individual contributors directly and is responsible for deliverables, goal setting, performance management, coaching and will develop and implement descriptive/explanatory models. The right candidate is expected to be hands-on with deliverables, has a strong analytical background and can build and inspire effective teams to drive the Hyderabad site to success.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team to bring complex analytical solutions to completion on time and within budget, ensuring high quality of work that adheres to analytical best practices
  • Collaborate with HR and Risk leadership and business stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions in alignment with their respective strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions for HR & Risk stakeholders
  • Partner with HR senior analysts prepare reports and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and ensure overall delivery for clients
  • Create internal processes around data quality/analysis that uphold BMS data privacy standards
  • Provide strong recommendations through analyses of current states a deep understanding of the environment
  • Play a key role in mentoring team members, designing career development opportunities and creating a culture of connectivity and meaningful work within the team
  • Provide significant input into and communicate diplomatically regarding performance reviews, promotions and compensation actions for team members
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to build strong capabilities and continuously improve or implement new technologies

Skills and competencies -

  • Strong verbal/written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage a heavy workload
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify key findings from disparate data sources to provide recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail ,pro-actively detect data anomalies and ensuring data accuracy
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including using Tableau, ETL (Python, R, Domino), SQL
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of qualitative design, data analysis and applied statistics
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive collaboration and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Experience -

  • We welcome a bachelor's or master's (MBA preferred; quantitative area)
  • 9+ years of prior experience, including hands-on delivery of analytics solutions
  • Experience managing/leading team(s) supporting global enterprise
  • Experience with forecasting/analytics, modeling platforms, data manipulation software and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Suite, MicroStrategy, Python, SQL, etc.)
  • Experience operating successfully in a complex organizational environment
  • Experience interacting with senior management, understanding, anticipating, and fulfilling their insight/ analytical information requirements through effective visuals and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience with descriptive analysis with HR domain is a must
