Role:

The Senior Manager - Healthcare Architect will lead the planning, design, and execution of hospital expansion projects, ensuring architectural excellence, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire) coordination, and regulatory compliance. This role will focus on standardization, process improvement, and optimizing healthcare infrastructure.

Location: Narayana Health Corporate Office, Bommasandra, Bangalore

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Healthcare Infrastructure Planning.
  • 12 - 16 years in hospital design and architecture, healthcare infrastructure, or large-scale architectural projects

Key Deliverables:

1. Standardization & Design Efficiency

  • Development and implementation of standardized layouts for hospital spaces (OTs, ICUs, OPDs, etc.).
  • Completion of space programs for different hospital capacities (200-1000 beds).
  • Adherence to JCI, NABH, NABL and internal healthcare design standards.

2. MEPF Coordination & Interdisciplinary Integration

  • Seamless integration of MEPF with architectural designs.
  • Efficiency of the consultancy/interdisciplinary matrix execution.
  • Adoption of energy-efficient & sustainable building practices.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

  • Timely submission and acquisition of statutory approvals (municipal, environmental, fire safety, etc.).
  • Compliance with local building laws and healthcare infrastructure regulations.
  • Effective liaison with government authorities for smooth approval processes.

4. Process Improvement & Execution Efficiency

  • Reduction in turnaround time for tender and execution drawings.
  • Implementation of workflow standardization for enhanced project efficiency.
  • Alignment of architectural outputs with operational needs and evolving medical technologies.

Candidate Skills Required:

  • Healthcare facility planning and compliance (JCI, NABH, NABL).
  • MEPF coordination and interdisciplinary project management.
  • AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM, Photoshop.
  • Leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
