About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) Expert with 5+ years of experience to lead our acquisition, retention, and reactivation strategies.
You will own and optimize referral mechanics, onboarding journeys, activation funnels, and incentive programs, leveraging CEP tools such as MoEngage, CleverTap, and Plotline, along with deep behavioral insights.
This role sits at the intersection of product-led growth, behavioral science, experimentation, and data-driven storytelling, working closely with Product, Analytics, Design, and Engineering to convert user intent into action and drive early and repeated value realization.
What You'll Do
Lifecycle Strategy & Growth Ownership
Own and scale end-to-end referral journeys:
- Discovery
- Sharing
- Conversion
- Reward unlocks
- Repeat referrals
- Drive lifecycle programs across acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation
Onboarding & Activation Optimization
Design and optimize onboarding journeys across:
- Push notifications
- In-app messaging
- Email
- WhatsApp
- Product flows
- Reduce drop-offs and accelerate time-to-first-value
Behavioral Segmentation & Personalisation
Build and maintain dynamic user segmentation frameworks using:
- Behavioral signals
- Transactional data
- Intent-based triggers
- Design targeted nudges and campaigns to improve activation and engagement
Growth Experimentation & Incentive Design
Identify key activation milestones and design:
- Nudges
- Incentives
- Education loops
Build gamified referral and onboarding programs with:
- Social proof
- Urgency mechanics
- Reward optimization
- Continuously test and optimize campaigns through experimentation frameworks
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product & Engineering to improve UX, flows, and reduce friction
Work with Analytics teams to:
- Track funnels and cohorts
- Measure experiment outcomes
- Identify new growth levers
Campaign Performance & GTM
Own campaign performance tracking and ROI measurement
Ensure all lifecycle communications are:
- On-brand
- Compliant
- User-first
Lead go-to-market (GTM) for:
- New referral constructs
- Onboarding features
- Activation initiatives
You'll Excel in This Role If You Have
Core Requirements
5+ years of CLM-led growth experience in a consumer internet business
Proven experience across:
- Acquisition
- Retention
- Reactivation
- Strong expertise in user segmentation, cohorts, and behavioral targeting
Hands-on experience with CEP/MMP tools:
- MoEngage
- CleverTap
- Plotline (or similar)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
Ability to convert insights into high-impact campaigns
Strong experimentation and optimization mindset
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
Tier-1 / Tier-2 academic background
Bonus (Good to Have)
Experience in fintech, crypto, trading platforms, or high-scale consumer apps
Experience building zero-to-one referral or onboarding systems
Strong intuition for:
