  • Track and forecast budget, process journal entries for assigned programs, review statements, and make corrections, reconcile General Ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly and periodic invoices for the client by MarketStar policies and the client s approved purchase orders
  • Maintains MarketStar budgets for assigned programs in Adaptive/Workday to help maintain accurate company forecasts
  • Oversee rep compensation plans on programs including base wages & true-ups based on performance
  • Ensures that accounting functions are completed following established policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Analyzes accounting functions and provides suggestions for improved processes related to the assigned program
  • Assists in the implementation of new systems for different accounting functions
  • Monthly tracking and forecasting of client budget to be used for the MarketStar contract.
  • Reconciliation and reporting of pass-through expense invoices.
  • Analysis of client pass-through expense and recommendation of more efficient and profitable use of the client s available funds.
  • Work closely with MarketStar Leadership and the Business Development Team to make recommendations for redirected spending.
  • Coordinates the collection of financial data from clients/ client delivery team.
  • Cooperates with and assists external auditors during annual and semi-annual audits.
  • Ensures that Marketstar s professional reputation is maintained.
  • Ensures appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding the Companys accounting records.
  • Role could require leading a team of Financial Analysts

What will you need to succeed in this role :

  • Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of General Ledger accounting.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Degree in Finance or any related field.
  • Experience with Workday GL and Adaptive encouraged but can be trained.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as G Suite or Microsoft Office.
