The Senior Manager – Financial Analytics will be responsible for driving data-driven financial insights, strengthening MIS frameworks, and enabling performance tracking across lending businesses. The role will support senior leadership with high-quality analytics, forecasting, and strategic inputs to optimize portfolio performance, profitability, and risk-adjusted returns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analytics & Portfolio Insights
- Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis across loan portfolios (Retail/MSME/Corporate as applicable).
- Analyze key NBFC metrics such as Net Interest Margin (NIM), Yield, Cost of Funds, Credit Cost, IRR, ROA, ROE, and portfolio profitability.
- Provide insights on disbursements, collections, delinquencies, and asset quality trends (PAR, NPA, write-offs).
- Evaluate product-level profitability and customer segment performance.
2. MIS, Reporting & Dashboarding
- Own and manage end-to-end MIS preparation for business units and senior management.
- Develop and automate periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly) covering:
- Business volumes (sanctions, disbursements)
- Collections efficiency
- Portfolio quality (DPD buckets, GNPA/NNPA)
- Design intuitive dashboards for leadership using visualization tools.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and standardization of reporting across the organization.
3. Business Performance Monitoring
- Track actual performance versus budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Lead variance analysis and identify drivers impacting performance.
- Monitor branch/product/channel-wise performance and highlight corrective actions.
- Partner with business teams to improve productivity and efficiency metrics.
4. Analytical Support for Decision Making
- Provide decision support through scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and forecasting.
- Assist leadership in:
- Pricing strategy and yield optimization
- Cost management initiatives
- Credit policy evaluation and risk-return trade-offs
- Build advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives and growth plans.
5. Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
- Develop rolling forecasts and long-term financial projections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Business, Treasury) for planning inputs.
6. Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate MIS and reporting processes using analytics tools.
- Drive adoption of data integrity, governance, and standard reporting frameworks.
- Improve reporting efficiency through digitization and reduced manual intervention.
7. Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Ensure alignment with RBI/NBFC regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support financial disclosures and internal governance frameworks.
- Maintain audit-ready MIS and analytics documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of relevant experience in direct and indirect taxation
- Prior experience in NBFC / Lending Analytics / BFSI domain is essential
- Hands-on exposure to portfolio analytics, MIS reporting, and performance tracking
- Experience working with large datasets and automation tools is highly desirable
